WBA: Giving Back by Mentoring
At WBA, giving back to the community is one of the firm's core values. We understand that as professionals we need to share our success and skills with the community. We are proud of our very own Jeremy Cutts and Sharon Hughes who volunteer as mentors for the Birmingham chapter of the ACE Mentor Program of America.
Along with other professionals in the area, they mentor local high school students throughout the school year and guide them on projects relating to engineering, building and design. These projects include planning city layouts, designing roads and building a gingerbread house.
Happy Holidays from our Family to Yours
Thankful for our future designers
We had a visit from Edgewood Elementary School's fifth grade enrichment program. They were full of energy and questions and ready to learn the ins and outs of architecture and interior design. We received Thank-you notes from all the students to put on display in the studio. We are thankful for their enthusiasm and interest in the industry and look forward to the next generation of young architects and designers.
