North Shelby County, Alabama

The goal of the new Shelby County Services Building is to consolidate various county services under one roof. Most things the public need are located on the first floor and include ; a license office, Sheriff’s substation, a driver’s testing suite and a community room that will be used for assemblies, training, voting and other events. The second houses county 911 services and the top floor’s main tenant will be Central Alabama Wellness, which provides a variety of services to children, adolescents and adults dealing with mental illness and/or substance abuse disorder and intellectual disabilities. The other half of the third floor will be built out in the future.
